Rain was recorded at an isolated farmouse in the Kanimbla Valley in Eastern Australia. A series of meticulous recordings of gentle rain falling on an old iron roof has been seamlessly crafted to create one perfect sonic hour. Rain is no mere wash of indeterminate white noise. The nuances of the gradual waxing and waning of an early evening shower are rendered in beautiful detail, faithfully capturing the atmosphere of an untroubled and nostalgic aural environment.
