The Morphium Collection: Pines

Pines was recorded in pine forests on the Jenolan ridges in Eastern NSW, Australia, in 2006. Gentle wind from the plains to the west hits the ridges and is focussed up into hundreds of acres of old growth pine. The nooks and crannies of the forest generate delicately evolving nuances, and recordings from several locations have been blended transparently to evoke the mystery and soft grandeur of this beautiful place.
